Farm-to-table cooking in a natural jungle setting
Jungle Kitchen on Koh Samui offers a farm-to-table cooking experience for travelers who want to cook authentic Thai food with traditional equipment and enjoy meals made from organic herbs and vegetables grown in their own garden.
Classes are held in an open-air kitchen in the middle of a garden on a hillside, with views of the island and the sea. Cooking on Thai charcoal stoves instead of gas creates a more traditional Thai home atmosphere, and groups are limited to 8 guests.

Dishes you'll cook
You'll cook 3 dishes. The menu is set on the morning of the class after the school hears your favorite dishes and dietary needs, and everyone cooks essentially the same dishes. Each menu follows this pattern:
1. Soup or salad
A Thai soup or salad.
2. Curry from scratch
A Thai curry made with homemade curry paste. The curry is the centerpiece of the evening, and you'll grind the spices yourself with gorgeous views in front of you.
3. Noodle or stir-fry
A noodle dish or a stir-fry.
After the preparation, there's a short break while the staff light the charcoal stoves, then the cooking begins. Afterwards, enjoy your dishes for dinner in the garden.
